The emergency state is over and has been which is good, doesn't mean it was ever eradicated and if anything has only become more intense though no longer hospitalises nor kills as many as it did before a vaccine was developed. The Long COVID suffers are little more than the spectres of a painful time and will be ignored as such because far too many people have become virus deniers in the wake of COVID-19 in their rush to move past the trauma. At this point it's becoming an endemic, no longer a mere pandemic.
