Good question, if one could use Nouveau+Mesa and the CuDa libraries without the rest of the Nvidia user space it would be fantastic, best of both worlds.
In principle I don't see why it wouldn't be possible, unless CuDa depends on other obscure userspace proprietary Nvidia stuff.
Exciting times ahead.
