I must admit I don't get the hype over threads.
For bluesky, I was curious about the protocol (my interest quickly waned). Dorsey being in the board was a red flag for sure, but it was still an external team.
For threads, it's meta, which track record is absurdly bad, technically there's nothing new / interesting, it doesn't even try to pretend it's not a privacy nightmare.
Still, people that should know better flock there.
Am I missing something?
