Explanation of why I am ROFL:
The generally-observed-by-sane-people rule of fanfic is that you don't try to turn a profit off someone else's work. This goes double when they're dead but still in print because someone less forgiving than the author is seeing rents off the work. And it goes quadruple when there are TV/Movie rights in play.
