I think people building "nostr killers" REEEEAAAALLLLYYYY discount the power of a network that already has 100k accounts with reputations and relationships.
It isn't always about the tech, bootstrapping a new network is HARD AF. People always trying to reinvent the wheel, far more often than not, just end up still using the wheel.
Imagine the power of being an indie developer and making an app where, the moment you launch, it people already have an account and they have a balance in your app!
