Here's where I'm reminded that I chose to live outside cities so I must continue to pay in unexpected ways:
I cannot have my lost phone's SIM replaced until I personally visit one of the branches of the telco in a big city - it's a whole day's journey from my little farm deep in the hills.
"We don't service post-paid cards here, please go to the nearest $brand store" and that was that.
And my bank sends OTPs for _any_ online transaction *only* over SMS. Until I make the trip, I am stuck.
