Today’s #walk was a circuit from Budleigh Salterton, beside the R. Otter to Otterton, green lanes to Ladram Bay & back along the coast path. One of my favourite walks but I’ve not been for a while, during major works as part of the Lower Otter Restoration Project. This reconnects the ‘man-meddled’ river to its flood plain - a huge coastal climate adaptation and habitat creation project. Stunning to see the difference & it was teeming with birds (smudgy pics to follow!)
