If someone is being threatened to have their arm cut off for stealing a candy bar, the question should not be one of whether or not they stole. If you want to talk about that then you can do it AFTER they are safe from harm.
These people are on a witch hunt. That’s it. It’s not about justice. It’s about hurting people because it’s fun. They are abusers of the worst kind.
I believe Austin is in a tough situation where he has realized this but is at threat of being attacked if he says anything other than what they want him to say.
