Holy shit, I just looked up black bear cub prices. Near $9k! Inflation is a bitch. I remember when I was looking at them about 20 years ago, you could get one for $400-600. I almost bought a mountain lion cub for $1500 under the table without a permit. Would have been much cheaper if I had a permit. Then came to my senses, knowing I lived in the suburbs. lol. But the thing was literally in my hands and I was contemplating it.
