I'm a big fan of Mike Flanagan's shows, but it does feel like if he keeps working in this format much longer, a lot of the charm is going to wear off.
I'm enjoying Fall of the House of Usher—it's well made and acted and like Flanagan's other shows, you can see that a lot of care and attention to detail have gone into it—but it definitely lacks a lot of the "oomph" that, say, Hill House had going for it.
