A disease you can keep getting until it cripples or kills you, and a clueless public walking about unmasked as if making yourself a sacrificial lamb to the disease unwrites 2019, does not sound to me like " the crisis phase is over, and the management phase has begun".
Sounds to me like we've got the biggest group psychosis problem since they invented religion, and a very live pandemic.
That's not managing. Or even coping.
