A friend just repaid me from money I lent him back in September 2022 that I would otherwise have just put into Bitcoin. So I bought BTC with it. Delighted to have the BTC and a friend still. A tiny bit frustrated I would have 40% more BTC today but didn’t have the heart to explain life under a Bitcoin standard to him. But it’s a small glimpse into how things will work when everything loses value over the long term when measured against Bitcoin and why really you shouldn’t lend it out.
