If you need a new *to you* laptop or desktop check out MGold. They price their equipment in #Monero, and while I don't need a new device at the moment, I've got my eye on their offerings. My current laptop is about 11 years old, does not charge, and requires me to strike the F1 key at boot because the CMOS is dead (i suspect). As long as it stays plugged into power all the time, like you would a desktop, it works fine. Well, it can't keep up with the Tari blockchain anymore. Because it doesn't have an SSD.
