Blanket-bans SUCK.
Over and over, I hear voices who demand bans on #socialmedia access for people below a certain age or general bans of social media.
Please stop thinking you can just ban the problem away. Think for example about the people who use social media as a safe space... the LGBTQ+ #kids and teens in some conservative hinterland who use social media to be able to connect to other #queer kids, which is impossible to do safely in public...
To solve the (anti-)social media issue, we need #education and #moderation, not generalized #bans for a certain group.
