it's wild though that the social media platform has so much influence over the fans community.

I posted the same bait here on Mastodon, and there's a healthy collection of Apple users here too. No one took that bait here though, and most people seemed to know what I was doing.

It's like Meta attracts a user base drawn to that kind of fighting, and their algorithms feed divisiveness and confrontation.

Anecdotally, the posts of mine that seem to reach the farthest are those that cause "is vs them" fights.
