As for heatpipes, there's only so much physics you learn before you realize everything that can be developed on a macroscopic scale has already been theroretically conceptualized. I missed that post of yours, but I don't think I have much interest in that myself apart from what's revelent to me, keeping my PC cool, do you think a pure rock 2 from be quiet is good enough for 12-14th gen i7 cpu? I think the biggest issue would be the mounting method (it's just two screws) and the thermal paste.
Are the heatpipes you mention for heatpump sinks as well?
