"The Israel Electric Corporation has completed a historic agreement with the Tel Aviv municipality and the Israel Land Authority (ILA) to transfer ownership of several properties in the city. The company has been in possession of the 'Heroes of Israel' complex since 1960 and has used it as a logistics warehouse. The site is strategically located near the Peace Junction and the future route of the light rail and metro. According to the plan, the area can be developed into an office building, but part of the site will be used for infrastructure and will initially be used for the construction of the metro. The company has also relocated its headquarters from Tel Aviv to the Shorashim Park in Rishon LeZion."
