Do you really believe the west stop stealing? Ask the CFA nations of Africa. Ask the Haitians. We in the west are just better at theft. The West has been the largest tax collectors of all time.
Innovation drove this country. New Ideas. Large shifts in technology and the west embracing it allowed for incredible years of growth. But the innovation has slowed. We've taken the path of many fattened societies, entertainment and leisure. It is our comfort that will be our downfall. Our hoarding of abundance to create artificial scarcity, that will ultimately cause the rebellion. (See Rome, France, etc...)
