y’know i’ve done some reflection recently and i’ve decided that children just shouldn’t be allowed on the internet until they’re 13
before you say some shit like ”but you used the internet when you were a child! thats hypocritical!"
okay but heres the thing
the internet is way different now
in the 90s and 2000s, content geared towards children was either non-existent or high quality and didn’t come near content geared towards teenagers and adults
but we’re not in the 2000s anymore. the internet just isn’t safe for little kids anymore. everywhere you look on the internet is attention span destroying, mind numbing, colourful garbage to keep kids with a constant hit of dopamine, and that is no way to grow up
go look at youtube kids and roblox, hell even regular youtube. our generation didn’t grow up with the kinds of garbage on those websites. we didn’t have morgz, mr beast, ryan’s world, cocomelon, etc
there’s a reason ”ipad kid” is a relatively modern term
