While riding SF Muni yesterday, my wife saw a driverless Cruise vehicle do something similar, except it passed on the right side of the bus while two passengers in wheelchairs were trying to get on. It really sucks that Cruise et al. are using San Franciscans as guinea pigs in their risky experiments.
