People like Augustin Carsten or Christine Lagarded are living in a parralel reality, a hyperreality created around them since they were young, indoctrinated into a secular system outside the actual reality of 99% of the population.
Like with blinkers on they pursue their own self interested goals and one of them is control.
Control through money and energy, those are the two most important aspects in controlling the plebs.
But they themselfs never worked a 50hour week in a field and or construction site to value the labor produced by hands.
This detachment of reality leads the alot of misconseptions on what money is or how it works or what it's purpouse is.
The laptop class which cheers for the introduction of free programmable money is living in lalaland and often thinks they ca get into good positions but repeating the said narrative the Elite brings up.
This of course will never happen.
Their main goal with the cbdc's is to close all off and on ramps to bitcoin to reduce currency speculation.
But a cashless society will not be accepted by the real working class as they still live in the practical reality of real world work including physical labor.
The average working class does not like the abstraction of money in a non physical form, it's already hard to explain Bitcoin to them but they won't easy accept a government forced digital money which they can not touch or see.
They want physical cash, as I said earlier they need a crashed economy and when that happens people will exchange their money for goods which hold their value they flee into commodities and when the off and on ramps for #Bitcoin are in place those commodities will be traded on a secondary market with #Bitcoin in the same way fleemarkets and black markets operate today on physical cash
