Start9 is its own OS which is based on Linux. So, either you get rid of your windows os and install start9 os on your machine instead, or you will have to run it on a Virtual Machine in your windows computer. At least this is how I intend to run mine on my Mac, on a VM. Check their website, all the information is there.
