I think about this a lot.
You have the skill, ability, and actual marketable proof of concept to create a really good product; then you use this to do unethical and/or illegal shit.
Just make legitimate products that are of high quality?
I understand it from a hacker standpoint, but for tangible physical products I am stumped.
I grew up in poverty and hacking/technical skill is what got me out of it. I am lucky that I'm a white dude in America. If I wasn't? I'd totally be a criminal to provide for myself and my family. So, I guess I understand it, but only barely.
