If it matters, I have it installed and updated using Obtainium.
It just occurred to me to check permissions and battery optimization settings for your reference. I thought I had it set to not optimize for battery, but I was wrong. I disabled battery optimization to see if that's causing the issue.
I apologize if that was the issue. It's plausible.
