I feel you bro. I haven't been back since covid went down, but the changes from 2007 to 2020 were so dramatic, especially after the floodgates opening in 2012 when Abe sold out on visa restrictions.
For an entire decade, every year I thought it couldn't get any worse without Japanese citizenry revolting, yet it became worse than I ever imagined.
