If cardiovascular deaths were not in fact down, after an unmitigated five year rampage of the most insanely infective immunodysregulatory, neuropathological, organ destroying respiratory transmitted disease known to man, I'd be seriously fucking worried.
Because it would mean the lethality of the virus has risen significantly. It would mean other ages were dying at the same rate as geriatrics. Human extermination in 20-30 years from a single viral cause.
