7. How Many stages of editing do you go through? What are they?
My process seems to change every new project. For the last one, stage 1 was distilling the draft into scene cards and determining where structural weaknesses were. Stage 2 was fixing scenes that didn't do their jobs, and adding new scenes where needed. Stage 3 fixed consistency, continuity, and finalized POV.
