I’m beginning to wonder if zaps have fallen victim to unintended consequences. 🧐
When one-tap zapping was introduced a few months back along with NWC, the idea was it would make zapping frictionless and hopefully serve as a catalyst for the v4v economy.
What appears to have happened is that most people have set their default one-tap zap to 21 sats and it’s too much of a ux hassle to go through the extra 2-3 clicks to change the zap amount. Prior to one-tap zaps, all zap amounts needed the same number of steps, so people were more likely to pick amounts commensurate with the value the post provided 🤔
