Why/how would evidence of the data being deleted from a single cloud storage service prove anything? Data is easy to duplicate and online thieves will often maximize their profits - first through extortion and once the target pays / doesn’t pay, they’ll then sell off the data regardless.
What does AT&T benefit from paying anything?
