I'm reading Emma right now by Jane Austen. It has to be one of the most frustrating books I've read. I knew going into it that it was Austen's intent for us was to not like the character, but man I didn't realize how good of a job she did on that.
I even looked up the spoilers for the book because I was so irritated when Emma convinced her friend to reject that marriage proposal, so I know how it ends which usually helps me when reading tougher stories, and I'm STILL having a hard time getting through it.
