Plumbers putty or silicone?
About 6 months ago I replaced the drain baskets in the kitchen sink. One started leaking so I finally redid that with silicone yesterday. Today I'm doing dishes and the other side is leaking. I don't remember having friction washers on my first kit, but I think I over tightened last time.
