That one of the main functions of calling the police in the US is to get someone who is clearly struggling to not use a particular establishment’s bathroom or tell them they’re “trespassing,” is so pathological. A cafe calls the police on this Black man because he's in the bathroom for a long time. The staff try to get him out, he doesn’t. Then they have to clean up the bathroom which is a total mess. They’re obviously upset about the situation. 1/n
