Nothing like knowing the NY State Archives will be calling and trying to guess if the unknown phone number that shows up as “Public Service” is the call I’ve been waiting for. Area code was 518.
I thought that was a NY area code - and it was the Archives. The latest court case they digitized for me should arrive later today - case involves Ezra Coe (my great great great grandfather)
