imagine you’re a nurse from the Philippines. You can come to the U.K. and be paid comparatively well but the visa is a nightmare, costs an insane amount and you’ve heard on the news about nurses getting rocks thrown at them. Or you could go to the UAE and be paid 2x the U.K., visa taken care of by your employer, no tax. You’re treated like crap there too, but at least you’re making serious money. Where do you go?
