A city at peace in a world at war. ‘The Stockholm Run’ is a fast-paced thriller set in Scotland and Sweden during World War Two. It uses many real settings, transported eight decades back in time.

The wartime British Embassy in Stockholm is amongst the Swedish locations used in the book. It was in the Bünsowska villa, which has since become one of the city’s finest residences. This is a modern photograph of the villa.
