Today I found the script I've been using for making #FreeBSD live discs! I may reupload them to my gitlab asap.
It is nothing fancy however. More like mixing together a bunch of scripts/tools from releng and then doing some chroot magic and installing needed packages and at the end of the day, it is a fully functioning FreeBSD live iso.
Back in the day I remember I tried to modify system tarballs as well, but I got problems with hash and hash checking. I guess if I modify "bsdinstall" as well, it may be something useful in future.
