Nostr for profiles. An open-source, self-hosted frontend/app allows users to view subscriptions and play videos. No reliance on big tech clouds for video hosting; instead, it uses torrents. Users download the video via torrent (the frontend handles this automatically). Content creators seed their own videos, while other users can also assist by seeding the torrent files. There are no ads, users pay 1 sat to view a video. Content creators can share some of these sats with others who help seed their videos.
