Scavengers Reign if made in any time besides current year could have been interesting.
But:
>the waymen are the "smart ones" that survive
>the men are straight, white and all fuck up somehow while the waymen are minorities.
>the men are painted as the assholes who did wrong while the women barely can "grow" from their negative actions.
It takes me out of the experience when it's so obviously painted in current year colors along with one of the waymen being a lesbian OF COURSE and them giving more dignity to a robot.
