I find that destroying the Moon would require 1 million 1-megaton bombs, 1 million gravity-tractor spacecraft, and a couple of centuries.
Do not do that.
The sequence of events would be throwing asteroids into asteroids to push Ceres out to Jupiter and then back this way to hit the Moon. And that's why we don't keep asteroid deflection spacecraft around all the time.
