🧵 Thread about a casual conversation I had with a Boomer; my childhood friend's dad.
Casual chit-chat about work which, after I mention that I lived and worked in SF for 2 years, turned to politics.
Guy says that he grew up somewhat liberal but has been listening to more and more right-wing radio and that he can't really argue with the points they (Bongino, Levin, etc.) raise. I laughed and responded "well I sure can!" out of reflex.
