STRATEGIC Intelligence is divided into 3 areas. It's level #1 Intelligence. It's above operational and tactical Intelligence briefs. It's categories are listed below.
1. political Intelligence
2. Military Intelligence
3. Economic Intelligence
IN the context of the military, Strategic intelligence is used at the Department level; i.e., it is being provided to the 4-star flag billets and civilian leadership (SECDEF, SECARMY, Joint Chiefs, CSA/VCSA, MAJCOM/numbered field army, etc.). [High ranking individuals]
I have personally found a pattern of recognition of Bitcoin, by Individuals who would have been briefed at the Strategic Intelligence level since 2009. The pattern is of familiarity, inquisitiveness, adoption, favorability.
If I were to pole 10 people on the street, possibly one would know about Bitcoin. When I have polled 10 very high ranking military who would have had Stategic briefings, I come up with 100% Bitcoin recognition.
My takeaway is that there has been Stategic Military aspect to Bitcoin of some sort
