For example, some authors opt not to include an author photo on their cover and website so their age won't be known, but I think that's a mistake.\n\nI think ageism continues, but from what I've seen, it's less than in other fields. 80 y.o.'s still get publishing contracts as long as the publisher thinks the book will sell.\n\n#WritingCommunity",
