Weirdo #gamedev question:
Is there an official (more or less) term for a feature that's fun to do but doesn't really contribute to the actual gameplay?
For example, being able to smash boxes even though they don't have items in them, being able to pet dogs, being able switch off/on lights in a game without stealth, etc.
I want to say immersive features but that doesn't sound correct?
