The last Eragon book. I had to know how the story ends. Until I read that book, then I wanted to forget how it ended. Actually that reminds me of the last Harry Potter book. Such a great series of books, until that last book, which basically took everything that happened until that point and then shot it in the face point blank. Artemis Fowl as well. Hmm… I am beginning to see a pattern here.

All final books in a series are terrible and should be avoided at all costs! Might just be Young Adult novels, can’t actually think of any other where I really hated the last book. Or maybe I’m just not as deeply invested anymore compared to when I was younger so I just shrug it off now and put the book away to read/do something else.
