Zoom recorder appears to function perfectly. Unfortunately it only supports up to a 32GB SDHC card, not the larger ones I have plenty of -- so I have had to read a backup image off the borrowed Wii U SD card so I can use that. Payday or so I will order a few 32GB cards just for the Zoom recorder.
