that's not the interesting part. They're going to delete data in /tmp and /var/tmp on a timer based on age. Long running services will just have files disappear 🫠
Linux continues its war on files. You want to keep something temporary for the life of the process? Don't use the system tmp filesystems anymore, gotta find somewhere else (unless you update their mtime with a heartbeat.) WTF??
