#WordWeavers 2: What scene in your current WIP are you proudest of?
During the medieval plague, a priest has been killed by a mob in a church after preaching that the plague is punishment for their sins. The scene involves a main character after she's been told what's happened. This vibrant, bubbly woman is sitting in shock. They had had a complicated relationship. The plain silence of her pain is agonizing.
I cried for ten minutes after writing this scene. My reaction scared me a little 😂
