“For an artist, there is nothing more terrifying than the blank page,” Salman Rushdie once said. I don’t know that I necessarily agree with him, but it makes me realize the absolute strength and fortitude that artists possess, and that very few understand. I myself am not daunted by the blank page, but I have discovered that this is a superpower, not available to everyone. It makes a difference, I assure you.
