besides the nonce hassles, bitcoin miners do double-SHA256, while nostr uses a single round of SHA256
i don't think there's any way to make it work
designing a FPGA/ASIC implementation specificially for nostr PoW grinding might be an interesting project though 😀
it's too bad that content comes after tags, so unless you're willing to grind the trailing part of the content you can't do the "reuse midstate and grind the last block only" shortcut
