How did you develop the idea for your first book?
Back in the day of my early 20s (way back in the pre-internet stone age) I wanted to create a world like Tolkien. I was also enduring my 1st marriage so I produced a book about a princess running from forced matrimony who met a female dragon hiding from having to mate. I'm sure it was awful, but there's no evidence as the "agent" who I'd snail mailed it to wanted loads of cash & never sent it back when I declined. 1/2
